 League Spare Guidance & Procedures

 

• Individual curlers are responsible for sending out spare requests and, if possible, arrange for a spare.
• Team of Four must have, at minimum, two curlers from its assigned team to avoid an automatic forfeit of the match.
• Team of Three is allowed; consisting of two curlers + one spare.
• Team of Two is also allowed, and in the "spirit of curling," another team can lend a curler if agreed upon prior to the match.

League Spare Fees & Guests

 

• Curling Club of Houston welcomes any new, past, or guest curlers to come join us anytime!
• Spare fee for any active club member who is currently NOT part of a league will be $30.
• Spare fee for any active club member who IS currently part of a league will be waived. 
• Spare fee for any non-active member or guest will be $35.
